About Me, Personal Goals and About Our Team

About Me

Henlo friends :D This is Ryan Andrew from Class 2B03. I'm part of Group 3 in our class as well, and my teammates are really cool! Here are a few things about me:
  • I'm a gamer, I play mostly Apex Legends (I main Octane and Mirage) and Valorant (one of seven Yoru mains here!)
(That's me in the middle!)

[Team MVP, me, on the left XD (I'm only bronze tho I'm not that good LUL)]
  • I have a passion for saving the planet and being the least destructive I can be to the environment.
  • I love K-Pop! Some groups I stan include aespa, Itzy, Twice and Everglow.
  • I am also a huge tech nerd, mostly when it comes to mobile technology such as phones and laptops. I'm a huge fan of Microsoft's Surface line of devices.
  • Lastly, people call me an Apple sheep, and for good reason ;) if you need help with advice or tech support when it comes to (most) Apple products, you know who to find!

Personal Goals

My goals for this semester are:
  1. Be more elaborate and consistent with documenting my work
  2. Improve on my Fusion360 skills and be faster at using the program
To achieve my first goal, I will need to make better use of my time right after the CPDD lesson for the week. Our class has been blessed by the timetable gods to have our CPDD tutorial and practical on the same day, and also have a lot of free time on the days when we don’t have practical. Hence, I would like to make better use of that time and set aside two hours on those days to just sit down and focus on documenting my work for the module during that lesson.

I would know I would have achieved this goal if I do not feel as stressed to do the blogging for the module like I did in the last semester, and if my quality of work for the blog improves. The latter I can find out through feedback from our lecturer.

As for my second goal, I can achieve this by practicing using Fusion360 on my own time. Being more familiar with the software, where the buttons are and what each tool does will help me save time and spend less time looking for the tool I need and more time thinking about how to improve the design. Learning the keyboard shortcuts for Fusion360 should also help a lot with this!

I would have achieved this goal if I start feeling like making my way around Fusion360 feels a lot more intuitive and I take a lot less time to complete any assigned work with the software. If the drawings I make have also increases in complexity, then I know I would have also improved in terms of my actual skills.
